Aerobic exercise, also knowns as cardio, is any physical activity that increases the rate at which your heart works. Some examples of cardio include jogging, riding a bicycle, skipping or swimming. In football, cardio workouts increase your stamina which will allow you to perform at a higher intensity level for longer periods of time.
